view photo On 10/2/2004, sister Lily was married with brother Zhaohui in Staten Island Chinese Christian Church. Many CCYF members went to the wedding to witness their unity in LORD and share their happiness. Lily had moved to Boston with Zhaohui. We will miss her. Lily was CCYF's former chairperson and had done a lot of work for God in CCYF. May God bless the bride and bridegroom.

CCYF held its annual fall retreat at Mount Gilead Camp in Pocono, Pennsylvania from 10/9/2004 to 10/10/2004. About 40 people attended the retreat. We had a wonderful time there. Here are some of the pictures from the retreat.

view photo Farewell, Steve (2nd from left). Brother Steve was returning to LA to unite with his wife and his two children, and to work there. Steve had been with us for about half a year. On the fairwell party, he testified that in his family he was the least spiritual one. Even his son is more spiritual than him. He was reluctant to go to church on Sunday. Because of job transfer, he came to New York. His wife and children had been praying for him constantly. Then he found and came to CCYF, and CCYF had helped him a lot spiritually. We all prayed for him that God continue to lead him and bless him in LA.

view photo Brother Wei Dong and sister Miao-miao were moving to LA due to job change. CCYF held a farewell party for them. Wei Dong had been attending CCYF for one year and a half. He also served as a treasurer. Miao-miao also attended CCYF meeting regularly after she married Wei Dong. They had grown a lot in their spiritual lives. They will be missed by everyone. May God be with them.
