Prayer List of September, 2004

  1. Pray For CCYF 2004 Fall Retreat - CCYF will hold a Fall Retreat at Mt. Gilead, Stroudsburg, PA on Oct 9th and Oct 10th. So far about 40 people have registered. There are more than 10 truth-seekers. Please pray for our speaker Elder Weizhu Xia, pianist, all co-workers, the truth-seekers, Children caring, the weather and transportation. May the Lord bless this retreat which is held in the autumn season -- the season for harvest!
  2. Pray For Lily Zhang's wedding - May the Lord bless this new couple and guide them in their new life!
  3. Pray for brother Weiqiang - Many of you know WeiQiang, as one of the key members of CCYF since its inception. Recently Weiqiang has been under tremendous amount of pressure at workplace. He is overloaded and need God to guide his step. Please spend a minute or so to pray for WeiQiang. Your support is greatly appreciated.
  4. Pray for Joseph (our Japanese friend) who is looking for a job.
  5. Pray for Wang Weifang who came to CCYF recently. He is looking for a place to move.

    Pray for China:

  6. There are 400 Chinese-Jewish families (about 2,000) in Kaifeng, Henan. Many still practice kosher life styles and observe Sabbath individually (no synagogue). There is a large community of Chinese in Israel. Let us pray for the Chinese churches here and their outreach to Chinese graduate students and among the campsites of the construction workers.
  7. Fierce social pressure and excessive care pushed 20 percent of children into depression; 4% require medical treatment, according to the government. Only a minority of churches has Sunday Schools and even many pastors' children do not know Jesus Christ. Let us pray specifically for spiritual and mental health of the children of all the church workers.

    Pray For America:

  8. We are on the eve of the one of the most important election in our history. So much is at stake: our National Security, the future appointment of Supreme Court Justices, our Christian heritage and even our most basic freedoms. Yet, our country is so deeply divided. The battle for the hearts and souls of Americans is raging as never before. The Bible tells us that "a house divided cannot stand." It's time to unite and pray for America. May God give us godly and righteous rulers who will do His will!
