The following are excerpts from Pray for China email list:
-
Pray for more students to study abroad - A sharp 30% drop in
TOEFL exam attendees in Beijing last week. Historically, 100,000 people
yearly take the test to apply to study in the U.S. After 9-11, student
visas are harder to obtain. We pray for those who are planning to go
abroad to study. Usually, that is the first time they will hear and
respond to the Gospel.
-
Pray for the salvation of Chinese young professionals - There
have been 20,000 MBA graduates from 9 schools in China since 1991.
Nearly all of them worked for foreign companies in Beijing, Shanghai,
Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Few Chinese companies recruit MBA's. These
young professionals have a lot of exposure to Christianity. Let us
pray specifically for their salvation and their witness.
